Kingdom Lifestyle Mission

KINGDOM LIFESTYLE MISSION (KLM) is our international charity that endeavours to mobilise students from universities and training institutions in developing countries to go out into nearby poorer communities to teach less privileged children every Saturday and during school vacations. We first started KLM in Ghana in 2012, where it is our plan to have a school in all the 10 regions of Ghana to teach underprivileged children every Saturday and full time during the long school vacations, providing them with free supplementary education. We currently run a Saturday school on Madina, Accra where 100 children are in attendance; in Elmina, Central region where over 600 children are in attendance and in Akplamanya, Ada area in Greater Accra where 200 children are in attendance. We will be launch a supplementary school in the Volta Region this year.

Kingdom Lifestyle mission as of 2014 is also operating in Juba in South Sudan with 308 children, in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia with 60 children in attendance and just began in Bulgaria May 2015.

The motto for KLM is ‘inspiring a new generation and transforming our society’.

These supplementary schools are open and free to all children and a free meal is provided each week:

  • Aiding the children in deprived communities in each of the countries with learning tools and resources such as books, pens and pencils, e.t.c
  • Giving them the platform to relearn subjects again after school, i.e. through Saturday classes and vacation classess.
  • To enhance their learning by using certain tools of motivation. This will be done by inviting guest speakers who have come from deprived background and are successful to speak and interact with them.
  • Partnering with tertiary institutions to provide tuition, for e.g. students from university of Ghana/University of Juba in South Sudan. This will create a platform for tertiary students to have understanding and empathy for the poor when they have graduated and acquired positions of power.

Again Kingdom Lifestyle Mission also plans to cater for the needs of street children in Ghana. By providing food, shelter and training. It is believed that greatness does not only rest in the mightiest but also the weak. It is our concern to make more room for such children and this will be done by;

    1. Partnering with individuals
    2. Government
    3. Businesses
    4. The media
    5. Agents of socialization
    6. Educational institutions
